Witness Teams Outreach

Our Witness Teams continually follow up to offer ongoing support, living out the Gospel through a personal commitment to those open to continued engagement.
— Chad B Davis, President, Dignity and Discipleship

Our evangelistic ministry program centers around Witness Teams

Witness Teams: small groups of 2-3 people who actively engage with the homeless and marginalized in our community.

The primary goal is to establish meaningful connections by offering essential items such as food, drink, clothing, and blankets, while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our approach is about building trust and relationships through genuine acts of compassion. We initiate conversations where Jesus is a central subject, making it clear that our actions are inspired by His love. We do not press for immediate conversion but aim to create opportunities for further contact and relationship-building.

We believe in extending our support to everyone in our community, regardless of their response to the gospel message. Our mission is rooted in Christian love and understanding, ensuring that assistance is available to all.

Baptism

A Key Step

Our evangelistic ministry program is dedicated to providing baptism opportunities for those who respond to the Gospel.

Baptism is a crucial part of entering the discipleship track.

We believe that baptism is an essential step in becoming a Christian, and it must be witnessed by a community of believers.
— Chad B. Davis, Dignity and Discipleship

Community and Celebration

Baptisms will be conducted within established churches, creating a sense of community and celebration. However, to ensure that this important step can be taken wherever necessary, we are ready and willing to jump in a pool or baptize in the Gulf. The presence of fellow Christians to witness and celebrate the baptism is highly encouraged.

Will you join us to celebrate a baptism?

Preaching

Our evangelistic ministry program focuses on being present on the street and the personal proclamation of the Gospel.
— Joey Honeycutt, Dignity and Discipleship

Key Goals:

  • Preaching the Gospel: Our events feature powerful sermons emphasizing the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging people to respond in faith.

  • Providing Incentives: We aim to offer music, food, drinks, and comfortable seating to attract attendees and create a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Growing the Kingdom: We introduce people to the love, freedom, and acceptance found in Christ, aiming to grow God's Kingdom. We inspire curiosity and plant seeds of faith, offering a glimpse of the transformation a life in Christ can bring.

  • Providing Support: Follow-up and community are essential in the life of a believer - we provide resources, support, and community to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the Gospel.

  • Gaining Exposure: We seek to raise awareness about our campaign and mission, making it easier for the homeless to identify and engage with our witness teams in the future.

We organize outdoor evangelistic events in key locations where the homeless and marginalized are likely to attend. Find out more about our events/schedule below!

Commitment to Prayer

At our ministry, we believe prayer is a powerful tool for change and connection. Our evangelistic outreach focuses on meeting people where they are and offering prayers for their immediate needs. Whether it's for healing, forgiveness, safety, or basic necessities, our dedicated witness teams are always ready to offer personal prayers for those in need.
