Building Foundation of Faith

This is a 13-week course designed for newly baptized Christians. This class covers the fundamental beliefs of the Christian faith, focusing on fundamental truths of the Bible and instruction on practical application.

Faith Formation

The emphasis will be on developing daily prayer and Bible reading habits.
— Chad B. Davis, Dignity and Discipleship

Introduction

In the Faith Formation phase, each new Christian (referred to as "Simon") will be paired with a faith coach called an "Andrew." This Andrew-coach will guide in establishingh the habits of Scripture reading and prayer and support the new believer through their spiritual journey towards Christian maturity, autonomy, and self-sufficiency.

The Role of the Andrew-Coach

  • Mentorship: The Andrew-coach will act as a spiritual mentor, helping the new Christian develop essential habits like daily prayer and Bible reading.

  • Accountability Partner: They will offer accountability and encouragement, ensuring these habits become a meaningful part of the believer's daily routine.

  • Long-term Relationship: This isn't just a short-term engagement. The Andrew-coach will build a lasting, personal relationship with the new Christian, fostering real brotherly love and commitment.

Worship & Fellowship

We connect our clients with local churches, mentors, and pastoral leaders to foster meaningful interactions within a community of believers.
— Bernita Hightower, Dignity and Discipleship

At Dignity and Discipleship, we believe worship and fellowship are vital to growing in faith. By bringing new believers into healthy participating churches we strengthen the body of Christ. This unity allows us to encourage, support, and uplift one another. Christians seldom thrive without a few meaningful relationships within the Church. We intentionally create those relationships to support our clients.

"For the body does not consist of one member but of many." - 1 Corinthians 12:14
